Hi, My name is Jim Preston. Alamo is my family business started by my grandparents in 1955. I started working here at Alamo during high school in the laundry then became a CENA. Following HS, I went on and got a degree in Business Management. After that I decided to go back to school and get my degree in nursing at KVCC while continuing to work as a CENA here at Alamo. My education prompted me to want to work in the hospital setting so I left Alamo and worked at Bronson Hospital and then did some traveling nursing around the United States for about 5 years
Wanting to be closer to home I returned to Alamo in 1999 as the Rehab nurse. I moved into the assistant director of nurses position and then eventually the Director in August of 2010. In my spare time I enjoy working in my yard doing landscaping and attending my nieces and nephews numerous sporting events as well as traveling.
"My why for healthcare is growing up in the family business gave me the compassion to want to help those who need it and to bring a smile to their face."
