Hello, my name is Anne Farnsworth. I graduated with my master’s degree in occupational therapy from Western Michigan University in 2010. I am currently working on my OT doctorate! I started my OT career in Phoenix, Arizona, working in many settings including an inpatient rehab hospital, skilled nursing facility, and a level I trauma hospital. I have experience working with a variety of individuals and diagnoses, mainly adults and older adults. I have been at Alamo on & off in various departments for over twenty-five years! I have worked here in the kitchen, in laundry, and in reception. I have been in the therapy department since 2017 when my husband, our three children, and I moved home from Arizona to be closer to family. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, kayaking, bonfires, and watching my two daughters and son grow and excel!
Hi, my name is Brian Scherff! I've been practicing 7 years now at Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation. I am a physical therapist who has been practicing in Michigan for 28 years and has worked in just about every practice setting known to physical therapy. I had the opportunity to advance in degrees with Vestibular rehab, mobilization and manipulation. My previous employment with Bronson Healthcare for 11 years, 2 years with Borgess Hospital (Ascension Borgess), and 8 years at Carson City Hospital. My career led me to becoming a rehab director supervising 12 to 14 therapists at Kindred health systems. I worked in hospital settings from acute care to orthopedics (including rehab settings in multiple locations, outpatient settings with athletes to geriatrics, homecare, cardiac rehab and aqua therapy). Alamo Rehabilitation has been gracious and supportive of my efforts to make my invention, the MAT table, a reality.
Hi, my name is Amanda Pickett! I am a wife and mother of 3 boys. I have been a CNA since 2000. I started working at Alamo in 2008 as a CNA. I have enjoyed being a rehab tech since 2010, helping residents stay strong and active.
Hello, my name is Cody! I graduated with my Master's in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University in December, 2021. I have been practicing occupational therapy for just over a year, and I have experience working with older adults in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as in their homes. I pursued occupational therapy as my profession because I find it to be a very rewarding career: I get to be a part of helping individuals achieve their goals and aspirations. Some of my other passions are serving God, spending time with my wife, and rollerblading.
